In the spring of 1859, John Wilkes Booth (Kevin Anthony Viol) was fired from a Philadelphia theater company after a reviewer criticized him for “lack of confidence.” While seeking solace in the arms of a prostitute (Jennifer K.D. Hughes) and a bottle of whiskey, Booth contemplates suicide. Can her love save him?
